This is powered by SS1 movement which started in 1966 and is a 18000 low beat version. Later it was improved as 216000bph known as SS1K as used in my Shanghai 1524 here. The date code on the movement is "EA". "E" means 5th year from 1966 which is 1970 and "A" means January. So this watch was made in January 1970.
I have a 1123 which is later than this 1120. Unlike 1123 which uses the words "上海“ in the form of calligraphy as the logo on the dial, this 1120 follows earlier Shanghai watches employing the "上海“ logo which looks a like a 2-storey building; 1120 is probably the last watch using this logo.
The caseback is encraved with the words "上海手表厂” （Shanghai Watch Factory),"防震“(anti-shock) and 1120-314.
