Dragon (Long 龙) and phoenix (Feng 凤) are mythical creatures in Chinese culture. Both creatures are symbols of good luck. Dragon is always perceived as male and phoenix as female. The pair are often observed in traditional wedding used as decoration or taoist's temples as part of the architecture. The logo depicts the dragon on the left and the phoenix on the right, this is especially obvious when one looks at the caseback.
This is a mid size watch and has a clean movement. The word "ZHONGGUOZHIZAO" above 6 o'clock marker means "Made in China" (ZHONG=中, GUO=国, ZHI=制, ZAO=造).
I understand that the Longfeng was one of the affordable watches at that time. Although it was an affordable watch, it has calendar and a signed crown.
On the caseback, the words surrounding the logo are "SL5B" (S=Shoubiao/watch, L=Longfeng, 5= Factory Nr 5, B= with date), "龙凤" （Dragon & Phoenix) and “丹东市手表五厂” （Dandong City Watch Factory Nr）
